The Leading Manufacturer

Established in 1983, Largo Foods is an Irish company and is the leading manufacturer and distributor of premium snack-foods (crisps, snacks, peanuts and popcorn) in Ireland. Largo Foods supplies an extensive range of branded and own label products to customers in Ireland, the UK, Continental Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.

Working Together with Irish Farmers

Largo Foods has production facilities in Ashbourne, Co. Meath; Gweedore, Co. Donegal and Barnsley, UK. The Co. Meath factory produces potato based products and sources close to 30,000 tonnes of potatoes from Irish farmers annually, equating to approximately 10% of the nation’s annual potato crop. Largo Foods sources most of these potatoes from Irish farmers in counties Meath, Dublin, Louth and Wexford. The extensive range of crisps are cooked in 100% pure Sunflower oil.

Natural Ingredients

The Gweedore factory is based in the Gaeltacht area of North West Donegal and is Irish speaking in the workplace. Largo Foods makes the bulk of its extruded and fried savoury snacks in this factory. The ingredients used in the production of these products combine natural grains and vegetables e.g. corn, potatoes, cassava, rice, etc.

Iconic Brands

Largo Foods represents some of the most iconic snack-food brands including Tayto, Hunky Dorys, King and Perri. Together these four brands account for almost 50%* share of the Irish market.

We have an exceptional track record and are committed to the highest quality standard of crisps, snacks and popcorn in Ireland. Largo Foods has an excellent track record in the production of high quality snack-food products and is committed to the highest quality standards in each of its factories.
