Largo Foods has production facilities in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Gweedore, Co. Donegal and Barnsley, UK. The Co. Meath factory produces our potato based products and we are very proud of sourcing over 30,000 tonnes of potatoes from Irish farmers annually, which equates to approximately 10% of the nations’ annual potato crop. We source most of these potatoes from Irish farmers in Meath, Dublin, Louth and Wexford.
All our crisps are cooked in 100% pure Sunflower oil.The Gweedore factory is based in the Gaeltacht area of North West Donegal and is Irish speaking in the workplace. We make our extruded and fried savoury snacks in this factory. Our ingredients are based on natural grains and vegetables e.g. corn, potatoes, cassava, rice, etc.
Recently, as part of the Tayto Park experience, Largo Foods has opened the Tayto Factory Tour where you can witness the manufacture Ireland’s favourite crisps and snacks firsthand.
