T Earlier this year, Tayto asked the public to vote for their favourite of four proposed flavours to launch for a limited time only – Spice Bag, Curry Sauce, Breakfast Roll or Sunday Roast. A PR and social plan supported the month long campaign, votes could be cast digitally through Tayto’s website or through a 2 week nation wide road show. Over 40,000 votes were cast throughout February and March, with 51% of the votes it seems everyone liked a bit of spice! We had a clear winner – Spice Bag! Tayto Spice Bag will launch as a limited edition flavour this September                    ...

Tayto Ripples have extended into 150g share bags in three mouth watering flavours: 1. Original & unique Tayto Cheese & Onion 2. Delicious Sour Cream & Onion 3. Tantalising Thai Sweet Chilli To support the launch of Tayto Ripples we partnered with TV presenter James Kavanagh and fitness enthusiast Jess Redden. The latest addition to the range; Hunky Dorys Chips is featured on OOH throughout May.  The Love Child of a Chip and a Crisp, packs full on chipper flavour in every bite.  There is no messing around here, this is full on flavour, just like your man in the chipper does it.  These new additions will expand the Hunky Dorys range further, giving our Buffalo community a reason to keep returning to the range.          ...

Hula Hoops officially announced a three-year extension to its partnership with Basketball Ireland. To tie-in with the announcement Hula Hoops launched Ireland’s very first #HulaHoops3x3 championship in Dundrum Town Centre on May 12th. 3x3 basketball is an exciting and fast paced version of basketball which has been added to the schedule of events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.   The championship took place on a specially constructed court with tiered seating for the fans and players alike.  The nation’s top men’s and women’s Super League teams competed to become the #HulaHoops3x3 champions. UCC Glanmire and DCU Saints were victorious on the day and received their €2,000 prize money as well as their Hula Hoops cups. The event was streamed live on the Basketball Ireland YouTube page and was viewed by a massive 16,000 fans.  Hula Hoops is looking forward to growing participation in Irish basketball over the coming years through more fun and engaging competitions and events.                ...

It’s been a busy summer in stores for Mr Tayto! In June we kicked things off with in store activations supporting the World Cup. Despite Ireland not qualifying, this was a key snacking occasion for our brands and our field sales team worked hard to bring our exclusive retailer activations to life in Tesco, Dunnes and EuroSpar.   Then, SuperValu shoppers had the exclusive chance to win tickets to Tayto Park in July! Pallet displays and gondola ends were live in stores with details on how to text to win tickets.   Finally in Tesco, we ran an exclusive competition to win an entertainment prize every day from July 25th– August 21st. Multiple touchpoints across the store were branded including foyer space, gondola ends and in aisle take overs. To win, you just had to snap a pic with Mr Tayto in store.                ...
