Applications are invited for the position of HR Generalist Role type:                               Permanent Fulltime Location:                                 Kilbrew, Ashbourne, Co. Meath Salary:                                    Commensurate with experience   Role overview: The objectives of this role are to provide advice, guidance and support on all HR related matters to the Operations division within Largo Foods. You will partner closely with the Factory Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Operations Director, being their main point of contact for all HR related matters. You will provide timely and appropriate support to deal with queries and requests from Line Management. You will lead and manage key HR projects and initiatives across the organisation. Responsibilities: Provide HR advice, guidance and support to Managers regarding internal HR procedures and processes Manage all recruitment related activities Lead and support the roll out of the Largo Performance Management program. Lead the roll out of Largo’s new HR Software system – building buy-in and usage right across the business. Become the superuser for HR software – be the main point of contact for all queries and training activities for line managers and new starters. Create and execute plans for employee involvement and communications across the organisation. Imbed the company values across all working groups within the organisation. Lead out on change programmes and key initiatives as requested. Partner with line managers to develop solutions to people issues in a timely and responsive manner that supports the needs of the business. Attendance and participation in Union meetings including follow up and resolution on issues raised. Manage employee relations cases including those at 3rd party, preparing case files, witnesses and liaising with 3rd party as appropriate. Highlight employee relations trends within the market and amongst our competitors and share with the HR team and wider business. Skills and experience profile: Strong background in a unionised environment with at least 2 years’ experience working in a fast paced FMCG organisation. Solid IR and ER experience backed up with excellent knowledge of employment legislation. Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Articulate with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven track record of delivering and leading out on key HR projects including change programmes. Able to effectively organise, prioritise and handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Experienced in delivering training with an ability to express thoughts in a clear and concise manner, at all levels across the organisation.
